We are seeking a recent high school or trade school graduate eager to embark on an exciting career as a craft surveyor.  Allan Myers, the largest heavy civil construction and materials company in the Mid-Atlantic region, is looking for driven, hardworking individuals to join our team and help build projects that shape our communities.

What You'll Do:

As a member of the surveyor crew, you'll be an essential part of our construction team, performing various physical tasks that help bring our projects to life. Typical responsibilities include:

  • Participates as required with the in-house pre-construction planning procedure and development of the project schedule, and meets with the owner or the owner representative.
  • Learns all the details of the plans and specifications of the project assigned. Partner with the project team to prioritize tasks.
  • Aggressively seeks out opportunities to increase the AAM survey function with value-adding activities.
  • Coordinate with Operations on the project's needs for equipment and labor.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction in all Customer and Inspector relations and interactions.
  •  Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

Experience & Education/Certificate:

  • 1-2 years of experience in construction a plus.
  • GED/high school diploma or related work experience, trade school a plus.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

  • Must be able to work well independently or within a team.
  • Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and pressure.
  • Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment.
  • MUST be tech savvy
